… and another shot from my last series.
I planned to watch this year’s Perseid meteor shower at a mountain cabin (‘Mödlingerhütte’), at an altitude of 1523m. Unfortunately the sky was quite overcast and only a part of the southern night sky was clear for viewing the stars. Nevertheless, I enjoyed being outside at night and tried to capture a few interesting shots. Equipment used: E-M5II & 12mm f2.0 lens.

Summer is here and my SD card starts to finally fill up again. In the coming days I will start posting a few image series from my recent trips through Austria and Bavaria. With the above image I wanted to capture the mood on a late summer afternoon with my E-M5II and the very fine Lumix 35-100 f2.8 lens, which is by now the most favourite lens I own.
Impressive view during a short hike onto the Pfänder near Lake Constance. I took this image with my new E-M5 mark II and 35-100 f2.8 Lumix lens. My trusty old E-M5 had given up due to a failing shutter and has been replaced at really good conditions (Kudos to Olympus’ customer service!)
This picture was taken on my last weekend trip to Weissensee (Carinthia) during perfect conditions for ice-skating on the lake with around 5km of track. Shot with my OM-D E-M5 and 12mm f2.0 lens.
